In Trysil you can stay in a large slope-side hotel, an apartment with your own kitchen or a cabin a little way from the slopes. Here are the places we recommend, and how to choose between them.

Hotels on the slopes

At Trysilfjellet Turistsenter you step straight from the hotel onto the slopes.

The snow creaks under your boots on the way to the lift, and it is still dark over Trysilfjellet. In half an hour the Fjellekspressen starts running, and the first skiers are already waiting. Stay in the right place, and it is only minutes from the breakfast table to your first run.

How to choose where to stay

Trysil has three kinds of accommodation. The hotels at the Turistsenter give you ski-in, ski-out access and everything under one roof. The apartments suit families and groups who want to cook for themselves. The cabins are a little way from the slopes but offer more peace and space, often with a ski bus to the mountain.
