A pool in the snow
Steam rises from the outdoor pool at Fyri on a cold winter day.
It is minus four, and steam rises from the outdoor pool. Snow lies around the edge, and behind you the mountains of Hemsedal climb towards a blue sky. Your skis are back in the ski room after a day on the slopes, and in an hour dinner is served on the top floor.
Location

The rooms and the building
Fyri has around 145 hotel rooms as well as apartments. The building is clad in timber and shaped like a star, so the rooms face different parts of the valley and the mountains. In the lobby a grand staircase rises through several floors beneath an open roof.
