For a concert at Ullevi, the best place to stay is around Central Station, fifteen minutes on foot from the stadium. From Korsvägen it is around a twenty-minute walk, and Scandinavium is right next door. Way Out West takes place in Slottsskogen, close to Linnéstaden and Järntorget. The 2027 concert summer in Gothenburg
Swedish House Mafia play four nights at Ullevi in July 2027: 2, 3, 9 and 10 July. Way Out West runs in Slottsskogen from 12 to 14 August. The Gothia Cup youth football tournament fills the city with teams from around the world in July, and the Göteborgsvarvet half marathon is on 22 May.

Where to stay for a concert at Ullevi
Ullevi lies east of the centre, a short walk from Central Station. From the hotels on Drottningtorget it takes around fifteen minutes on foot, and the walk back after the show is just as short. That is the big advantage, because the trams are packed when a whole stadium heads home at once.
Korsvägen is the other option. From here Ullevi is around a twenty-minute walk, with Liseberg and Scandinavium right next door. Many people choose Korsvägen when the concert is part of a family weekend.
For Scandinavium and Way Out West
Scandinavium is a couple of minutes from Korsvägen, so the hotels there suit indoor concerts best. Way Out West takes place in Slottsskogen, where Järntorget and Linnéstaden are closest. From Järntorget it is about twenty minutes on foot along Linnégatan to the park.

Clarion Hotel Post: Ullevi on foot from the station
Clarion Hotel Post occupies the old post office on Drottningtorget, fifteen minutes on foot from Ullevi. The airport bus stops at the Nils Ericson Terminal next to the station, a couple of minutes from the hotel.

Clarion Hotel Draken stands on Järntorget, where Linnégatan runs straight towards Slottsskogen. During Way Out West the festival site is around twenty minutes away on foot, and the sky bar on the 34th floor looks out over the whole city.

Getting back after the concert
After a big concert at Ullevi, the trams and buses stay full for a long time. If you are staying centrally, walking is often quickest. Taxis are expensive and slow when everyone is heading the same way, so do not arrange a pick-up right outside the stadium.
If you are travelling on by train the next day, stay near Central Station. The airport bus to Landvetter also leaves from the Nils Ericson Terminal next door.
