It’s not necessarily that hard to find fantastic hotels in Bali. But with so many hotels and resorts to choose from, it can be challenging to know which one to choose.

Where you choose to stay will depend on what is important to you and your travelling companions. Our tip provides great value - The Bandha Hotel & Suites offers 5-star luxury at a great price in a good location.

The Bandha Hotel & Suites – a modern Balinese-style hotel

Completed in 2016, The Bandha Hotel & Suites is a modern hotel with a warm and welcoming style with grand Balinese architecture. The hotel is built for every occasion, whether a honeymoon, a family trip or a trip with friends, the hotel can tailor to your wishes. They also arrange weddings on their premises and have a lovely roof terrace.

Legian is a popular area with tourists and travellers. It is located north of Kuta and ends where Seminyak beach starts. It is thus well located on the beach, but with less noise and bustle than Kuta or Seminyak. Legian is still just 15 minutes away from the shopping street of Seminyak, which is home to great boutiques, restaurants, beach clubs and nightlife venues.

One of Bali's most popular beach clubs, Potato Head, is located in Seminyak, a short taxi ride from the hotel. The club is suitable for everyone and is also child friendly. Here you can enjoy meals, bask in the sun, and sip tasty drinks. Come early to secure a sunbed.

Legian is a safe and easy place for tourists, and most people there speak English. Legian beach also offers surfing and is great for beginners as the waves aren’t that big on this side of the island.

The Bandha is located right on the beach, with a separate entrance to the restaurant only steps from the sea. It takes about 25 minutes by taxi from Bali’s international airport to reach the hotel.

Big and airy rooms

The hotel has 90 rooms in a variety of price ranges and sizes. The rooms are large and airy. The smallest room — the Junior Deluxe — is 47 sqm, while the largest suite is a whopping 225 sqm. All rooms have a balcony or access to a garden or pool. Prices range from 1.3 – 6.9 million Rp including breakfast, and this is therefore an affordable 5-star hotel where you get a lot for your money.

Two pools complete with their own bar

Bandha has two large swimming pools, with their own children's section. Each pool has its own bar that often has drink specials. Staff members are always around to take your order.

If you want to sweat outside the sun, the hotel has a spacious fitness room with a view of the pool. The gym has all the facilities you need for proper workout. When you're done, you can simply walk out the door and jump in the pool to cool down in style.

Visala Spa has four treatment rooms, offering a range of treatments.
