A friendly and relaxed atmosphere
In general, the people of Mauritius are very friendly and laid back, and the staff at Paradise Cove Hotel are no exception. Here, you are always looked after, but in a way that feels natural. The staff are attentive to everyone, and guests’ needs are met with a pleasant smile.
The local area
Paradise Cove Hotel is located in the far north of Mauritius. The area is private, with a nearby beach and marina. It is therefore a little removed from everything else. If you want to get closer to the town of Grand Baie, which offers shopping, beach life and restaurants, it takes about 10 minutes by taxi. Although it is possible to walk, the sidewalks along the road are not good in some places, so it’s worthwhile to book a car or bicycle.
What is a boutique hotel?
A simple definition of a boutique hotel is a small, sophisticated and fashionable hotel. There is no single answer as to what makes a hotel a boutique hotel, but there are some commonalities that give a distinct characteristic to this type of accommodation. Compared to regular hotels, boutique hotels are generally smaller and more intimate, and usually have a strong artistic sense and focus on design. Moreover, much of the appeal lies in the boutique hotel’s promise of first-class service, Instagram-worthy places and décor, as well as its location.
